The type of rocks or raw material to be crushed will determine the type of grade we will offer. Generally, for secondary and tertiary crushers, we mainly offer 3 types of grades :

12-14% of Manganese : Non-abrasive area – Soft aggregates (LOS ≥ 25 ≤ 40)

18-20% of Manganese : Abrasive area – Hard aggregates (LOS ≥ 20 ≤ 25)

21% de manganèse : Very abrasive area – Very hard aggregates (LOS ≥ 15 ≤ 20).

LOS ANGELES will allow to measure the choc and wear resistance of the aggregates. If the measured LOS in an area is < to 40, the aggregates are not very resistant to chocs. On the contrary, a measured LOS ≥ to 15, the aggregates are very resistant to the chocs.
