These crushers are used as a primary stage of aggregate size reduction due to the large feed opening. For these crushers we offer a large range of wear parts to cover all the main needs :

• Swing jaws or mantles
• Fixed jaws or concave segments
• Fastening items
• Fixing wedges and fixing bolts
• Upper and lower cheek plates
• Spider caps and feed liners

The type of rocks or raw material to be crushed will determine the type of grade we will offer. Generally, for primary crushers, we mainly offer 2 types of grades :

12-14% of Manganese  : Non-abrasive area – Soft aggregates (LOS ≥ 25 ≤ 40)

18-20% of Manganese : Abrasive area – Hard aggregates (LOS ≥ 15 ≤ 25).

LOS ANGELES test will allow to measure the choc and wear resistance of the aggregates. If the measured LOS in an area is < to 40, the aggregates are not very resistant to chocs. On the contrary, a measured LOS ≥ to 15, the aggregates are very resistant to the chocs.

*NB : Due to the thickness of the primary jaws, the 21% manganese is not recommended if the abrasiveness of the aggregates is important.
